We had a really good speaker come in last week to talk about fairy tales and the euphemisms and other symbolisms that are hidden inside them. He used the frog prince as an example, and afterward I left with some of my attitudes of myself and that particular story reinforced

Okay okay I'll post something. Since I can't post anything I am working on, and I don't have time to draw much outside of work, here's some life drawin.

I just got a wonderful delicious box of Purdies chocolates from Vancouver. It really came as a surprise and really had immaculate timing as I had been feeling kinda blue. It's amazing how kind people can be even after you've run away from and not kept in touch like I've promised. I've sent a postcard from my trip to Pixar yesterday, but till it gets there, here's a hello and a thank you!

This is pretty much what I look like all day. Trust me it's more exciting than it looks ;)

Because I don't have time to draw something pretty, here's a scribble of myself when I was in middle school that I did after work.

Hey all.
Sorry for the long absence, work has started to pick up more so I haven't had that much time for much else. I am showing my stuff to the directors for the first time on Monday, so I'm kinda excited and kinda nervous. I met the two directors for the first time on Friday, they were really nice and very constructive. I finished my first sculpture! Too bad it's way to expensive for me to do anything with it at the moment. I would like to get a bronze of it someday though.
I have been using painter a lot more lately, and I really like it more than photoshop. I'll post my life drawing of a rock star sometime this week, as all my other work has been for . . . well. . . work.
